Product Metrics & Analytics Intern

Role Summary

The Product Management Department is seeking a Product Metrics & Analytics Intern to support reliable, recurring product performance reporting. The Intern will help build a consistent dashboard across product lines and services and contribute to a monthly install-base/product metrics report using internal ERP/CRM, Product data, and other information systems.

In office 4 days a week; Remote Fridays 

Key Responsibilities

• Developing Product Management KPIs across product lines using customer metrics
• Consolidate metrics by product type
• Segmenting units by customer tier
• Building and maintaining a consistent dashboard across product lines and services
• Pulling, reconciling, and validating data from internal ERP/CRM, Product data, and other information systems.
• Documenting metric definitions, assumptions, and data logic.
• Using AI tools to accelerate analysis and drafting while applying a strict “trust and verify” approach for all outputs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, charts, and data cleanup.
• Bonus: SQL or BI tool experience
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to translate data into clear, leadership-ready summaries.

What Success Looks Like

• A clearly documented, easily maintainable reporting and dashboard solution that can be updated repeatedly with minimal effort.
• A simple, defined process for refreshing data and distributing monthly metrics and dashboards to leadership and key stakeholders.
