Job Summary:
The Director of Supply Chain will oversee and optimize the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to distribution. This individual will develop strategies that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to meet business needs. In addition to managing supplier relationships and leading the supply chain team, the Director will focus on continuous improvement, leveraging technology and data to streamline operations and enhance performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement demand planning, forecasting models, and inventory control systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and vendor performance to ensure the best pricing and quality.
  • Lead warehouse operations, optimizing space, workflow, and distribution channels.
  • Implement and monitor supply chain metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute cost-saving strategies while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to procurement and logistics.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, finance, and operations) to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize ERP systems, such as Salesforce/NetSuite, for performance tracking and reporting.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to develop cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce/NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and distribution systems.
  • Experience with supplier negotiation and contract management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • APICS CPIM or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Project management experience, with a focus on supply chain optimization.
